ORGANISATION SPOTLIGHT: INTEGRATED DREAMS

Integrated Dreams is a non-profit Association founded in 2017 based in Lisbon, Portugal, working for inclusion of disabled people in the sports industry. Their mission is to increase representation of disabled people in the sports world. With their vision being a sport’s world as a place where all people reach their fullest potential. Inclusion, development and education remain their core values.

LEVELLING THE FIELD

“Levelling the field in sport is about making possible the access of the biggest social group worldwide to the practice of sport!

When we talk about disability, we are talking about a group that, according to the most recent Global Report from WHO, represents 16% of the world’s population (1.3 billion people).
Levelling the field consists of creating an environment where anyone is part of the game and sport can be effective for all to reach out to the global population, without missing these 1.3 billion people!”

SPORT FOR ALL

“When we talk about para sport, we are talking about sport, but also opportunity! Para Sport is sport and should be seen by organisations and federations as part of their sport development strategy.

By including para sport, sport organisations and federations will be effectively global and make it possible for them to reach the global population. In the end, when we talk about having para sport as part of your structure or organisation, we are talking about a game where we can just all come out as winners!”
