The Future of Technology and Sustainability in Sport

April 27, 2026

17:00 - 21:00 CET

About This Summit:

Sport is moving fast, and the choices we make about technology in sport will shape who gets included, what gets measured, and how sport remains relevant in a changing world.

The CTN Summit in Lausanne brings together sport professionals, students, and industry experts for an evening of conversation, learning, and connection. We will focus on what the future of technology and innovation looks like in sport and how innovation can be used to build a more inclusive and environmentally sustainable sporting future.

Taking place in Lausanne, Switzerland, this accessible, community-driven summit is designed to ensure everyone has a voice in shaping the future of sport.

Why attend the CTN Summit?

Technology is already transforming how sport is played, governed, experienced, and measured. But innovation alone does not guarantee progress.

This sport innovation summit explores important questions facing the industry:

  • What are the current trends in technology in sport?

  • How can technology be used to reduce barriers to sport?

  • How inclusion can stay central when innovation moves fast?

  • How can digital tools support environmental sustainability in sport?

We prioritise shared learning, diverse perspectives, and open discussion.

Who are our Summits for?

We aim to be an accessible summit, built with community in mind

Too often, industry conversations happen behind high price points and closed doors. CTN was created to challenge that. Our summits are open to anyone interested in changing the narrative in sport, technology, inclusion and sustainability.

This summit reflects the international sport community who are diverse, curious, and ready to shape what comes next.

OUR PARTNERS

CTN is a not-for-profit association, and our aim is to ensure all our events are accessible by keeping entry prices low. This would not be possible without our partners, so we wish to thank them for their ongoing support in making Changing the Narrative in Sport possible.

CTN EDUCATION PARTNER

AISTS is the official CTN Education Partner for our Summits hosted in Switzerland. The mission of the International Academy of Sport Science and Technology (AISTS) is to bring a positive contribution to the management of sport through post-graduate and executive education, as well as applied research, consulting and services by developing, integrating and delivering multidisciplinary knowledge from human sciences, life sciences and engineering sciences.
