Taking up the sport has given me a sense of worth, that I can do normal things, and that PD won’t stop me because I’ll always find a way.

WTT4HF LEVELLING THE FIELD

“For the World Table Tennis for Health Festival, ‘levelling the field’ means creating a space where ability is never a barrier to participation, joy, or achievement. The Festival celebrates the strength and resilience of people with neurodegenerative diseases, showing that table tennis is not just a sport but a tool for equity, health, and connection.

By bringing together players, coaches, families, and those dedicated to using table tennis to create empowering environments for the Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s communities, we aim to break down barriers, amplify voices, and show that table tennis can change lives.”
